We have been waiting for days to get our visas. A visa is a piece of paper that helps you get into another country. We finally got our visas today. We need to get new tickets for our plane ride. Maybe we can go by the end of the week!

This is actually Kathy and not Kate, although I'm sure she will leave her comment tonight. I'm thinking you are now safely in India--it is 11:00am Texas time. We thought about you very much this morning as your plane landed.
Congratulations on your big, big adventure. I know it will be scary, but fun too. You will get to see things most people do not get to see or experience. At first, this may seem like not such a great thing, but it will get better and better. Also, be on the look-out for the "next big thing", like if there is something like ugly dolls, but only people in India know about it--let us know.
